Title: AJAX Developer
Site: Dublin or Belfast
Role: Permanent and contract positions
KEY RESPONSILILITIES
Intune Networks has a requirement for an experienced AJAX developer. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and testing AJAX Web Applications that are both robust and scalable. This will involve all phases of the product lifecycle from requirements elaboration through design, implementation and testing. The role will involve engagement with multiple stakeholders across the organisation and provide an opportunity to make a real difference to our product delivery.
Skills, experience and Education
• Honours degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar.
• 3+ years of development experience
• 2+ years Web 2.0 Javascript development and test experience (demonstrable)
Essential Technical Skills
• Demonstrable experience developing and testing robust and scalable AJAX applications
• Solid XSLT knowledge
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and cross-browser platform constraints
• Some experience with Java
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
Desirable Technical Skills
• Tibco General Interface
• jQuery, dojo
• Firebug
• RESTful Web Services
• Telecoms knowledge
• Familiarity with svn / source control systems
• Familiarity with Web UI Testing tools
Interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated individual with a strong desire to work and excel in a innovative design environment.
• Ability to work within a team environment and with all levels of people within technology and business environments.
• Ability to communicate and work with a range of local and remote teams to deliver quality software.
• Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
