Leonard Donnelly is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the Dublin Institute of Technology with 20 years International ICT industry experience. He is the new Chairman of Ireland’s Digital Hub Development Agency which plans to increase employment levels from 1000 digital economy professionals to many thousands in Hubs over the next 5-7 years.
Leonard is also Executive Chairman of LocationBridge: A new “strategic oversight capability” for Governments, specialisng in the formulation of radically new ICT strategies, telecom NGN designs, technologies and funding models for countries to leapfrog early into a new smart networked economic era.

Prior to LocationBridge, Leonard was Executive Chairman of Intune Networks. In other roles he served as Executive Chairman of Cinehub, Vice President of Network Product Management, Ericsson and Executive Director, Euristix Telecom Ireland, acquired in 1999 by Marconi North America (Fore Systems) for US$200m.
He is also an Angel investor in a number of prominent ICT companies.
