IT System Administrator

An opportunity exists at Intune Networks for an IT System Administrator. This position would suit an IT or Computer Applications graduate with a minimum of Diploma/Degree (NFQ Level 7) and 3 years’ experience.

This role represents a great opportunity for a candidate to work in a dynamic and hands on environment. You will be responsible for 1^st and 2^nd level IT support, and the Company's Windows and UNIX based internal IT systems, networks and telecommunications equipment.                 

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive IT support to 130+ Staff and Consultants

• Monitor the IT Helpdesk and work to resolve issues

• Build and deploy new workstations and servers

• Encryption and security for company laptops and other mobile devices

• Monitor and Support internal applications and systems

• Monitor and maintain the Company’s Backup systems across multiple sites

• Monitor system and network performance and event logs of Windows and Unix systems

• Experience with maintaining document management and revision systems, SVN

• Network maintenance, patch management, and maintenance of Telephone system

• Maintain the IT Asset Register, licensing, Anti-virus, KMS, WSUS.

• Work with your team colleagues to refine, document and implement best practice IT process
